I am excited to announce that I will be joining the StableNode team as a Governance Researcher on their mission to become a leader in governance for Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs). StableNode is a Research and Investment firm committed to sustainable ecosystem growth and governance advisory, with longstanding experiences in governance for major protocols like MakerDAO, Klaytn, and InstaDapp.

So why am I joining StableNode?

DAOs are a personal passion of mine because they carry the potential to open the door for new possibilities and ways of being via their community-driven features. In the future, DAOs might even serve as powerful alternative political and economic institutions for tackling some of the pressing concerns of our era that traditional governing entities have failed to resolve. But to get there successfully, we have to get it right this time. This means establishing the appropriate governance criteria and frameworks to ensure that we do not repeat the same mistakes of the past. Entering this new role with previous experience as a governance ethnographer, I am looking forward to applying my academic background to support the StableNode research initiative in establishing the necessary governance guidelines and best practices for DAOs.

As someone who prides herself on wearing multiple hats, I am delighted to have found a team at StableNode that is composed of like-minded individuals who are just as passionate and committed to solving difficult questions around governance in a multidisciplinary way. How do you design an ideal DAO? How can we promote decentralization without compromising efficiency? How can we encourage more community-driven decision-making? These are just some of the questions that the Governance Research team will be tackling in our pursuit to establish more formal governance frameworks so that current and future DAOs can ultimately become the best versions of themselves.

I am excited to see how this next decade will unfold for DAOs and look forward to supporting their sustainable growth and development with the StableNode team.
